Test we currently perform
Rapid Antigen COVID-19 Tests
An antigen test directly detects fragments of proteins from the COVID-19 virus. Collected via a non-invasive nasal swab. Results are available normally within 1 hour. Because of it's reduced specificity and sensitivity when compared to PCR tests, it is recommended that this test be performed at least twice within a week.

Our lab test method does not rely on lateral flow antigen test which is mainly used for at-home antigen tests. We use instrumentation that relies on microfluidic dynamics that had been studied to be much more accurate than traditional at-home tests.

Best for: boarding most US flights, attending a concert, sports event, or wedding, getting clearance to return to work and school

Hemoglobin A1C
The human erythrocyte is freely permeable to glucose. Within each erythrocyte a slow, continuous, non-enzymatic process between hemoglobin A and various sugars takes place. The product formed is known as glycated hemoglobin, or glycohemoglobin. The chronic elevated blood sugar level of persons with diabetes mellitus will over time cause damage to the small vessels of the body. This damage develops slowly over years and is known to cause late complications. Good metabolic control, i.e. lowering the % HbA1c, has proven to delay the onset and slowing the progression of diabetes late complications.

PCR COVID-19 Tests
PCR test: Stands for polymerase chain reaction test. This is a nucleic acid amplification (NAA) diagnostic test that analyzes the sample to determine if it contains genetic material from the virus. Molecular tests, and in particular RT-PCR, remain the reference for identifying active infections, especially in the early phases when the patient is still asymptomatic and carrying the virus. Due to its high sensitivity and specificity to the virus, these tests are reliable to determine COVID-19 infections. However, studies have shown that recovered patients can still test positive for up to 3 months, but show no symptoms or possibility to spread infection.
Turnaround time: Same day results.

Best for: early, active (symptomatic) and recovering infections

HIV 1/2 Ab and Ag
To aid in the diagnosis of infection with HIV-1 and HIV-2, including an acute HIV-1 infection, and may distinguish acute HIV-1 infection from established HIV-1 infection when the specimen is positive for HIV-1 p24 antigen and negative for anti-HIV-1 and anti-HIV-2 antibodies.
